The vision for Sisters Helping Seniors (SHS) came from both family and professional experience. SHS founded in 2014 on the basis of love, caring and compassion is committed to helping you care for your loved one the same way they cared for theirs. Sisters, Tonya and Lisa Williams started the company after devoting over 25 years of dedication, empathy and a true love for seniors they encountered as well as their own loved ones.
Their parents both deceased suffered from two very prevalent terminal illnesses, Cancer and Alzheimer's Disease. Their mom, Sara diagnosed with Lung Cancer in 1992, died 6 months after enduring chemotherapy, radiation and multiple surgeries to relieve the pain of her disease. For both sisters who were very young at the time and watching their mother suffer left an imprint on their lives that called them to commit their lives to helping others.
After suffering from complications of Alzheimer's Disease, their father, Carl succumbed to the disease in 2007 in a local assisted living community. The hospice and the assisted living community worked together tirelessly to ensure he was comfortable and pain free.
